An abstract explaining the content of the work, about 250 words, it should be submitted to the Congress Secretary.

The Congress Secretary will communicate to the authors the reception of abstracts they are received. In a second communication, the authors will be notified of the acceptance of the work, and at the same time be informed of wether the work is accepted for presentation either orally or as a poster.

The official languages are Spanish and English.

Deadline for registration of authors: 30th November 2002.
Deadline for Abstract: 30th November 2002.
Notice of Acceptance of Abstract: 15th December 2002.
Deadline for Submission of Papers: 15th March 2003.
Notice of Acceptance of Papers: 15th May 2003.
Deadline for registration of the attendants: up to 15th September 2003.

The papers being finally accepted for oral presentation will be classified in sessions in accordance with the topic. All articles accepted as oral or poster will be published in the “Revista de Metalurgia”, included in SCI/JCR.
